The assignment was to make a nondescript silhouette. Then from there try and find a character in the silhouette.
Then from there pick a design that intrigues you and build a character from it or from a combination of the two.
Leading to the final character idea.

Actually this assignment was the first time I've ever used a wacom tablet. So it's all digital.
